Needles

Hi!

metal needles
have not written long ago, and coincidentally I've just got some small needles to add to my I decided to dedicate a library entry crochet needles most suitable for amigurumi.

As I commented in a previous post, the thickness of the needles suitable for amigurimi is 4 mm. because it is the most suitable for general amigurumis for several reasons:

  • The thickness of the yarn: the thicker the yarn chosen for our work is our most big and therefore amigurumi , the larger the needle should be selected. As I commented in the previous tutorial input, the thickness of wool easier to find is between 3.5 mm. and 4.5 mm.
  • The size of the work: the wool of 4 mm. thick, and therefore corresponding needle is best for amigurumi medium (apart from the pattern and number of turns, because obviously you can make a giant amigurumi perlé). I put the example of Little Red Riding Hood, which was woven from the wool of 4 mm. thick and Leon, which was woven with 100% cotton lada 7 mm. thick.
  • patterns: most patterns are designed for 4 mm wool.
However, for some details such as hair, need help much finer needles, 1 to 2 mm. I hope to soon be able to provide a tutorial on various ways of doing the hair of amigurumi.

Once we have talked about the thickness of the needles is necessary to discuss the material.

Surely you count all metal needle color from gray to metal because it is normally found on sale in Spain, but the needles can be made of other materials such as wood, bamboo or plastic and have different designs.

Personally more needles I like are the ones made of bamboo for the following reasons:

  • are lighter
  • The more that you use more wool and wear better slides
  • No slip in the hand as far as the metal when you sweat a little hand
  • not honk at airports, so I can travel taking them
bamboo needles

With respect to the design ... as a collector I'm good I bring a few samples: colored needles, needles with mango, long crochet needle like point ... going that I have almost everything. The vast majority of my needles come from China because as I have mentioned before in Spain there is little choice or at least I have not found.

grip plastic needles
estrada I hope you like this, if anyone knows of any shops where find other types of needles do not hesitate to say it!!

Hypnotized - Korean Movie Free

to order a cabinet

Put clothes by category: all pants together, all blouses, together, all dressed up together ...

Separate the items according to use: work, all together, weekend, all together, special occasions, all together, etc.

And now make a subcategory of the previous section: all white shirts every day, together, then all black or dark shirts journal together, and so on.

Put all the hangers facing the same side, and try to use the same type of hanger.

Organize your closet at least twice a year. You can take advantage of the changing seasons to do so. To do so removes and stores the clothes out of season, you should only have in the closet the clothes you wear during the season.

My first illustration: From the window

Holaaaaa!!

today I am very happy because I finally finished a project that I was very quiet and I've been working months ... chin chin chin .... my first picture !!!!! It is based on Bram Stocker's Dracula (in the Yayo) and he is looking out the window of his castle.

acrylic
First version
There are currently three versions of my Dracula particular, a pencil sketch I did in September, the original acrylic painting on wood I did in October (which had good reviews from Kaliope , thanks for your opinion) and finally, the artwork retouched with Photoshop, but one thing at ...

few months ago I became interested in illustration, in fact always I like drawing, painting ... they should ask my diaries and books from school, some of my friends will remember jajajajaja. In September, I signed up for drawing classes because I will not do anything stupid or crazy to take me lightly or something that I respect deeply as is the artwork. Just in these classes is where I discovered that I have much to learn ...

Before starting this I was thinking about what I do, how they want to do and what I needed.

What I wanted to do was very clear, in fact I have about 10 sketches things going through my head (some a little geeks and others directly megafrikis). The how, well, I've tried acrylic, pencil, charcoal, paints, pen, tempera ... but as I like most is how things are edited digitally (and less staining lol), so I focused on it. What is missing, first a little training to learn to reflect what I have in mind in a coherent way, then the media have just recently renewed my computer crisps and I bought one that is phenomenal, and finally a Wacom Bamboo wonderful Santa Claus brought me from my boy.

this illustration may not be the best in the world (it is surely not the best), you may not have a wonderful technical precision (just in case do not show it to my art teacher lol), may not realistic, but is not intended, but I'm proud of it because it is original and reflects what I had in my head perfectly when I came, and they tell me that's fundamental.

Overall I am very proud of her, she has taken many hours, hard work, I learned to use photoshop to retouch photos more than (my time has led me), I have limited myself to clone elements, I have learned to use the Wacom, but I know that I have much to learn and I have to improve loooooooong.

This first picture I dedicate it to Javi and Turtle because when I got the idea supported me, when someone told me it was a bad idea continued to support me, and because they are my best critics.

Besos !!!!!!!!!

Maxi Gusi (Pepito)

Hi folks!!

today I bring refinement and improved Gusi, the nuigurumi I did a few weeks ago and has been the gift of Sarah Reyes, our beautiful girl and apple of our eye. It has made me especially excited to make this gumi because for me it was a challenge for several reasons :
  1. Sara has only about 7 mesecitos, so I could not have any parts that could start or be swallowed.
  2. The material could not be wool because some types of wool ruffling and girls are at that time that it takes everything in their mouths, so it had to be of a quality material that I would ensure that is washable and can suck.
  3. 3. The size could not be small or wanted it to have parts that could be mouthed, such as ears so I thought that the shape of a worm was ideal, in fact Gusi measures 30 cm or so. I did not want it to be heavy so I could catch her alone, so I filled fiber soft and I made sure that no leakage could be material.
  4. colors, a plush living a striking color and draw much more attention from a baby to a more neutral color such as white or beige.
Anyway, I think I hit squarely with ^ ^ and she loves to hug and bite. Indeed, his mother I think it's a great mom thought that Sara would like to call Johnny:)

Hope you like!
